An elderly woman in a Jerusalem suburb who was walking her two dogs on Saturday night when they ran into a group of men who had been trying to arrest her.
The woman said the men who came to her house to arrest the woman shouted at her: “You’re a terrorist!”
“It’s unbelievable,” she said.
“They are criminals.
I saw them taking my dogs away, kicking them and throwing them in the street.”
The elderly woman was later arrested by police and brought to the police station where she was interrogated for 10 hours.
She said the officers told her they were taking the dogs to a shelter and that if she did not leave immediately, they would beat her with a metal rod.
“I don’t know why they do this, but they want to break the law,” she told The Jerusalem Mail.
“The law doesn’t allow them to break it.”
She was released on Monday after she gave a statement in which she said she had not been threatened.
“They said they would take the dogs from me,” she continued.
“I didn’t know they were in the house.
I had a feeling they would find something.”
